After trying some roasted okra at The Grocery when the family was in town for Lauren’s 30th, Hunter and I decided to try and make it ourselves. We’ve had it 4 times in the last week, so to say it’s become a new favorite is quite an understatement..
Roasted Okra
Ingredients:
- Okra
- Olive oil or grapeseed oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Old Bay seasoning
Preheat the oven to 425. After washing the okra, cut the tops off, then cut it in half (longways) and place it in a pan with the gooey, seed side up.
Drizzle some oil on top of all the okra and top with salt, pepper and Old Bay. Bake the okra for 15-20 minutes or until it’s crispy to your liking!
Warning: These are addicting and once you finish the plate, you’ll immediately want more… Bon appetite!
