This past week I have been in Las Vegas for the HR Technology Conference with 3 other SPARC-ers showing off of our HR products.  With in-flight internet I was able to watch some football games as well as the sunset over the Grand Canyon.

After getting in Saturday night, we checked into the hotel, grabbed dinner and then I was able to meet up with Kristen and Andrew at Harrah’s.

Sunday morning we set up the booth in the Mandalay Bay convention center and then Amanda and I went exploring down the strip which included riding the New York, New York roller coaster, watching the Bellagio fountains, people watching outside Caesar’s and placing some bets at the sport’s book.

Monday and Tuesday we were exhausted after talking to just about everyone and standing all day during the conference, but Amanda and I enjoyed going to see Cirque du Soleil’s Mystere on Monday night.  By the end of Tuesday, we were getting a little delirious and ready to go home…

Unfortunately we had to take a red eye back to Charleston, but a Benadryl and neck pillow allowed me to sleep the whole flight back to Atlanta and then to Charleston.  It was a long and fun trip, but I was happy to be back in Charleston!
