This past weekend we celebrated Erin and Gibb‘s wedding! You might remember them from my posts about the oyster shell wreath for their engagement party, and the bachelorette trip to Mexico. Well the wedding weekend was finally here, and we were ready to celebrate the Clarks!
We kicked the festivities off with rehearsal at the William Aiken house on Friday morning. Once we knew where to walk and stand, the girls headed to Sullivan’s Island for a bridesmaid luncheon. The house that hosted the luncheon was basically my dream house. Check out their view..
I can’t imagine looking across to Ft. Sumter every morning when I wake up, but maybe one day? The food was great, and the company was even better.
The rehearsal dinner was that evening at The Harbour Club downtown. We enjoyed drinks on their rooftop terrace, then went downstairs for dinner and speeches. I think everyone in the room was laughing at the stories told.
We knew Saturday was going to be busy, and it started with hair and make up at the Samuelson’s on IOP. After getting ready, we headed downtown to get dressed, and take pictures around the William Aiken house property, and on King Street. How awesome is this picture of Erin & Gibb in the middle of King?
Before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony! I didn’t trip down the aisle, so that was good. Since we were already done with pictures, we got to enjoy cocktail hour and kick off the reception. I’ll let pictures tell the story of the rest of the night.
I seriously had so much fun this weekend, and couldn’t be more excited for Erin and Gibb! If you don’t believe me, I’m sitting here writing this on a Sunday night with my hair still “done,” but quickly falling from yesterday morning. Lots of bobby pins did their job well 🙂
