Last night many of us stayed up late watching the horrible events unfold, and wondering how someone so filled with hate could do such a terrible act in our beautiful city.

Luckily, in times like these you see how great humanity really is as they come together and support the victims and their families — and we’ve already seen that support from our residents, and others.  Now that the suspect is in custody, let’s focus on supporting this congregation, healing the city, and showing the world that Charleston does not tolerate this behavior.
