I can’t believe it’s basically March already. New Years seemed like just the other day! Since the wedding is getting closer by the day, we have been getting busier and busier. Last weekend we were lucky enough to spend some time with our family in town and knock out a lot of items!
Patty, Pegs and I enjoyed working on the rehearsal dinner details, but mostly the wine tasting they offered at the end. Wine on a Friday? Yes, please!
Saturday morning Mom and I were up and running errands. Last time she was in town we grabbed breakfast at Vintage Coffee in Mt. Pleasant, and went back again because it’s so good. Errands are always better with a breakfast sandwich and mimosa in your stomach 🙂
Hunter’s aunt and uncle threw us an oyster roast that night and we had so much fun with everyone! By the end of the night my cheeks hurt from laughing so much. Plus, this was Pegs’ first oyster roast — so now she’s a seasoned pro 😉
We enjoyed lunch at Leon’s on Sunday. Taylor and I are clearly working on our bridal bodies with the ice cream.. But after a lunch of fried chicken and brussels sprouts, you need to wash it down with soft serve and sprinkles.
This has been a crazy week at work, so I have enjoyed working in the yard and crafting at night to relax. I trimmed back my hydrangeas, ferns, and lantana, dug up a rose bush, and planted a camilla one night to start getting the yard ready for spring. Of course, we’re back in a cold snap, but hoping it ends soon and I can spread some pine straw and plant more flowers!
My goal is to get LOTS of things done this weekend — for the wedding, my shop, and the house — so stay tuned!
