Last Thursday I had the honor to be apart of The Knot‘s Charleston event downtown at the Gadsen House. The attendees were those in the wedding industry (think venues, photographers, planners, etc) and there were a few vendors that showcased Charleston’s charm, and what makes it unique!
My Coastal Kelder table was set up on at the end of the piazza, so I had a great view of the patio area, a palm tree behind me, and happily next to Swank Desserts.
My table was really Charleston focused, and included some of my Charleston pillows, monogrammed oyster shell dishes, slate coasters, Charleston coordinate wine glasses, and oyster shell candles. I also had 35 small oyster shell dishes that I gave out as favors. I felt super official when I got an acrylic sign for my table by the Town Serif.
I had been to the Gadsen House once before for a Charleston Blog Society event, so I was excited to see it totally decked out and check out the other vendors and decorations before everyone got there. Obviously I loved the oyster shell chandeliers they had in the entrance, and patio.
I loved having my friend Catherine come, hang out, and be my helper for a little bit too. Thanks Cathy G!!
For me the coolest part of the night was talking to everyone who came up to my table. I love Charleston and making things that represent that love, so it was fun for me to share that with others. When I got home that night, and the next day I absolutely loved looking on the #TheKnotRocksCharleston hashtag and seeing all the shared photos. It was unreal that some people were even sharing pictures of my table!
Never in 100 years would I imagine having a little side business that was asked to be part of an event like The Knot party! Thanks to Mac and B events for inviting me to join, my friends, family & readers for reading my posts and giving my brand some love, and of course Hunter for all the support to do what I enjoy in my free time (and letting me take over our home office)!
PS – Check out more pictures from the night on Mac and B’s blog, found here.
