I’m backkkkkkkkkkkkk! We are on the way back from our honeymoon and we are still overwhelmed with all the love from everyone – thank you, it’s such a wonderful feeling! We enjoyed some margaritas on the island, so I thought it’d be appropriate to share my favorite marg recipe as my first post back.
We’re a margarita family. We’ve all enjoyed drinking margaritas for years (non-alcoholic for the kids) and the rite of passage is getting a margarita at San Marcos once you’re 21. Aunt Beth’s recipe has become the family favorite, and it was the perfect way to break in our new mixer one Friday after work.
Aunt Beth’s Margaritas
Ingredients:
- One can limeade
- One can water
- 3/4 can tequila
- 1/2 can triple sec
On the rocks: Stir the 4 ingredients in a pitcher, and pour into your glass over ice.
Frozen: Pour the 4 ingredients in the blender, add some ice and blend until smooth. Pour into your glass and garnish with a lime!
The recipe makes a pitcher worth (~ 4-5 glasses). Both variations taste great, and can be topped with salt & a lime!
Salud!

Love a good marg!!! Thanks for the recipe, I’ll try this one out. No one will drink the ones I make except for my husband and I – apparently they are too strong?? lol
Haha I always say if you can’t taste it, it’s not in there ?
