Even though our house is still a complete work in progress, that wasn’t going to stop me from pulling our my favorite fall decor and sprucing the place up for the season!
Last year one of my favorite fall DIYs was making the faux succulent filled pumpkins. Well a few weeks ago I went live on Facebook and made another that is now sitting on our kitchen table!
Speaking of my succulent pumpkins… one of the ones I made last year is sitting on the mantle in our living room.
I realize I haven’t shown any photos of our living room yet and the big reason is because we’re planning on making some big updates here soon, so don’t judge the outdated look too much 😉 There are some great built ins on either side of our fireplace so I finally filled the shelves with some of my new & old fall decor and photos. We have some big plans here, but I’ll get into those later..

The one other place I’ve added some fall touches were in the entryway. You’ll notice the same piece of furniture and mirror from the old house, but I swapped out a few things like the Target dollar spot fabric pumpkins and metal pumpkin.
It’s just a start, but it’s making it feel a little more like home. There’s no telling what fall will look like here in a year! How do you decorate your home for fall?
Kelley, your succulent pumpkins are amazing! I just love them. What a clever idea! Your new home is lovely!
Thank you! It’s a work in progress right now, but adding some photos and pumpkins made it feel more like home.
