One of my favorite things is when someone asks if I can do a project for them – something that wasn’t on my to do list. I never know what people will ask and loved when someone recently asked if I could personalize a canvas album for their friend’s wedding. A new challenge? Count me in.

Letters to the Bride Canvas Album
What you’ll need:
- Canvas album
- Cricut Maker
- Black iron on
- Weeder tool
- Cricut EasyPress
- EasyPress mat
I started by creating the design in Design Space. I created the main design using more of a handwritten font and did it in Illustrator so I could give the letters more of a stroke so the lines weren’t too thin. Then I uploaded the file in Design Space. I added the date underneath and attached the 2 pieces together.
When you’re ready to cut, make sure the mat is reversed, then cut on your Cricut.
Weed the excess vinyl out using your weeder tool and turn your EasyPress on. Check the recommended settings to make sure the temperature and time are set right.
Slowly peel back the clear top and your envelope is done and ready to be filled with letters!
I thought this idea was so cute, so I’m trying to think of a way to make something similar for a friend!
I love this! So cute! Where did you get the canvas album?
She found it at Michaels!
I would like to order one, are you taking orders?
Hi Kathy, unfortunately no. This was a special request and they provided the book so I don’t keep those. You can make it yourself following the instructions in my post though!
