Growing up we had some cling on that we would decorate our kitchen window with.  Pumpkins, bats & cats for Halloween and then snowflakes and a village for Christmas.  I recently discovered that Cricut has it’s own window cling material and was so excited to create my own window cling for our front window!

Halloween Themed Window Cling On

What you’ll need:

  • Black window cling
  • White window cling
  • Cricut Explore Air 2
  • Weeder tool

I wanted to have some bats flying across the front window and spider web in the corner, so I opened up Design Space and looked for images.  I added this bat and this spider web to my canvas and added more.  I made 2 spider webs that were 6″ wide and a bunch of bats that were 4″, 6″ and 9″ wide.

When I was ready to cut, I rearranged the mat to put as many as possible on it and maximize my cling on material. I set my Explore Air 2 to vinyl setting and cut!

I weeded away the excess material and was ready to put these on the window!  In less than 15 minutes this went from idea to executed.

How cute do they look on the window??  After I put them up, Cleo had to check them out and immediately started pawing at the bottom one – it was cracking me up!

This was one of the projects I finished when my sister was in town and we finished the Thanksgiving place cards.  It was a quick and easy way to add some Halloween decor to the front and bring back some childhood memories!
