I’m sharing one last fall DIY before I switch gears to Christmas! Buffalo check has been everywhere lately and I found a dish towel at Hobby Lobby that was just asking for a little fall embellishment before adding it to our kitchen for the season.

Fall Dish Towel
What you’ll Need:
The towel had a little white band toward the bottom so I decided to add a few leaves in gold foil to spice it up. I opened Design Space and found 2 leaf images that I liked (link 1 & link 2) and added them to my canvas.
I arranged them to make a design using 3, resized them to fit the area I had on the towel then clicked to make it! Mirror the design and load your foil iron on on the mat with the shiny side down.
Once it’s cut, weed the excess. Pull out your EasyPress 2 (the small one was the perfect size for this project) and set the temperature & timer. Follow Cricut’s recommended settings for temperature & time, then go!
In just a few minutes you’ll have an embellished dish towel to keep for yourself or give to a friend. Pair it with some cookies or a bottle of wine for a Thanksgiving hostess gift!
I love how the gold foil catches the light at different angles and just a few simple leaves add the perfect fall touch! Find the project on Design Space here to make your own!
Happy Thanksgiving week!
