What better day than December 31st to do a lil recap of 2018?
At home…
We made a lot of progress making our dining room a dining room, we did the One Room Challenge in the laundry room (that’s still going on…), we painted the linen closet, added a fence and did more work in the yard.
Traveling…
I started the year in Florida with my college friends for a bachelorette weekend, headed down to our annual in Hilton Head trip, went to Austin & Waco in Texas with the family, had our first Cousins Weekend on the lake, went to Virginia with friends and went to football games, concerts and weddings around the southeast.
Crafting…
I made bachelorette goodies and wedding mirrors, handwritten canvases, got into palm fronds, mussel shell wind chime, football koozies, our first year of Halloween decor and a winter table setting! I even made some curling swag for my brother-in-law, haha. My favorite project might be our paper pumpkin place cards since they’re adorable, I made them with my sister and we got to use them at her Thanksgiving & our Friendsgiving.
Events…
In a year that started with an empty dining room, we still managed to have our first Valentine’s Day dinner at our new table, a Royal wedding brunch, 4th of July party, cookie decorating classes, Friendsgiving, my birthday oyster roast and a white elephant Christmas night. And I can’t forget the Chick-fil-a First 100, where I woke up early and volunteered for a day to get free chicken!
With Coastal Kelder…
I continued to grow my side business adding a few new retailers, partnered with Craftey, Wayfair, and Cricut, taught DIY classes, offered new products in my shop, had a busy holiday season & year and ended the year with my first photoshoot. I also gave Joanna Gaines some monogrammed oyster dishes when we were in Waco (and got a thank you from them!!).
All of this wouldn’t be possible without the love & support from you, so THANK YOU for a wonderful 2018! I can’t wait to see what 2019 has in store..

dang girl! You have been so busy!!! This is inspiring (and motivating) to see all you have accomplished in a year. Can’t wait to see what 2019 brings you!
