Happy Memorial Day weekend!

As the unofficial kick off to summer and a great time to pull out the Americana decor for summer (MDW, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Women’s World Cup this year), I thought I’d share the cute American flag burlap wreath my sister made when they visited back in April!

Yall know we had to craft while she was in town and while we didn’t do as many crafts as we usually do in the fall (I think our record is 8), she landed on a burlap wreath for their front door. We headed to Hobby Lobby to pick up some rolls of burlap ribbon and wooden hearts and were ready to craft.

She followed this video to create the wreath woven through the wire wreath form, then just added some wooden hearts with a hot glue gun and done!

Doesn’t it look cute on her front door? Makes me miss my American burlap wreath, but I’m still rocking the oyster shell W hanger on our front door!
