Last week we were in Georgia to celebrate my Grandma’s 90th birthday! We had a fun Parisian themed party at her home for friends & family. My sister saw a cute idea to use a suitcase to collect birthday cards, so I helped make the vision come to life with a min banner!

Mini Cards Banner
What you’ll need:
- 1 8.5″ x 11″ sheet white card stock
- 1 12″ x 12″ sheet pink card stock
- Cricut Explore Air 2
- Spatula tool
- Glue
- String
We found the suitcase at Hobby Lobby and it was only about a foot wide – perfect to hold cards and sit on a table. Now it was time to make a banner!
I used my birthday banner from my mom’s surprise 60th party as a template and removed the letters I didn’t need. I selected all of the banner pieces to see what their width was and resized it to be 11.5″ total, to fit nicely in the suitcase.
Then I cut everything out on my Cricut Explore Air 2!

I used glue to attach the white card stock to the pink pieces – especially important for the small inside pieces (like inside the A). Thread some string through the holes and leave extra on the ends for tying it off.

I brought the banner to Georgia with my other party pieces and we taped it to the top half of the small suitcase that was on a table as you walked in.

The perfect mini banner for cards in a mini suitcase at a Parisian party!
