This past March we spent a wonderful week back at Cabo San Lucas with family. It was a great way to have an “adult spring break” and relax before going back to a busy springtime.

We stayed at a house overlooking the Pacific Ocean and we all spent lots of time watching the whales, enjoying the pool & hot tub and beautiful sunsets.

My sister and I enjoyed walks everyday while the guys golfed. We joined everyone for a round one day (but primarily to enjoy the smoothie, sliders, margaritas and tamales) and even played Pickle Ball a few days.

The highlight of my trip was a bucket list item: Seeing baby sea turtles released in the ocean! The resort monitors the nests and 43 turtles hatched one morning. They knew we were interested, so let us know when / where to meet them on the beach and we watched as they made their way into the Pacific.

Another highlight of the trip is the food and this year didn’t disappoint! New favorites were the carbonara, every course of the catered meal at home (esp that cheesecake), huevos rancheros and the broccoli pizza.

The trip went fast, but we were excited to get home to our lil guy after a week of memories and full bellies!
